2 Months!

Wow, time does fly! I keep saying that don't I? Anyway, my mom and sister have been here since last Tuesday and we've had a great time. I've added some pictures from the week, and I'll add more soon. My dad and grandma got here yesterday, so its been nice to have pretty much my whole family here. It is great to be around Ross's family all the time, but it is nice to have my family around. Hopefully I'll see them more often with Quinn around!

Motherhood is...

So much harder than I thought. I think everyone feels this way though. At least I hope so! I don't want to be the only loser out there. Between breastfeeding and napping and all that junk, things are tough. And I know all the struggles are worth it. Right now though, its just tough. But I know someday I'll look back and I might actually miss these days.

Look, its actually a picture of me! Those are rare these days, due to a lack of adequate MAC time.

The almost sneeze picture is always cute! And for some reason, I love the jammies he has on in this picture...I think he peed all over them later that night. At least pee washes out better than other bodily functions he does on his clothes!

One Month Already!

Ok, so I really am turning into one of those crazy, document-everything moms. Oh well, he's my kid and I'll photograph what I want to!!

He is already one month old today. Ridiculous. The past month has been such a blur it feels like I just found out I was pregnant. Hopefully the next few months will be a blur as well, as we're still having feeding/possible colic issues. Not fun. Here's one of my new favorites!

Happy Easter!!

I hope you all had a blessed Easter and were reminded of the true meaning of the holiday, that Jesus gave His life for us. It is the real reason we are here at all. I don't know how good this picture will look, as I was going to take more until Quinn peed all over his cute Easter outfit that can't be worn again. Oh well, I guess the next kid will have it!

It is a little dark, I apologize. But the outfit was adorable and had bunny feet and a tail. Thanks Nana!!

3 weeks!!

That's right folks, Quinn is already 3 weeks old. I can hardly believe how fast the time is going. Its like Jenn Star told me when she came over the first time, soon he'll be 5 like Jackson. Scary, yet exciting at the same time. To be honest, I'll be excited when he's a little older. I love him now, but I'm thinking he's a little colicky, which is definitely not fun. Everything I've read said that it is usually gone by 3 months, so that is something to look forward to. I know he's not as bad as some kids, but he does cry pretty consistently from about 6-11 pm every night. He can be soothed, but it doesn't last long.

I realized that we never took a picture of the 3 of us as a family, so here is the first one. Not the best picture of me I know, but what can you expect right now?

Oh, and here is one more picture, just because its fun. I wanted to take a picture of the gator towel eating his head!! He doesn't seem to be enjoying it too much.
