Captain Crabby

Yesterday Quinn was in such a bad mood. I really have no idea why. Maybe he's teething, maybe its something else, who knows. I took him to the park to see if that would help him and he hit a dog! He loves dogs and this lady let him pet hers, and he wacked the dog on the head. Very not cool. I put him in his Captain Crabby outfit yesterday, as it was too appropriate. Am I a bad mom for taking pictures of him being crabby? Here is a pictorial from yesterday.

14 Months!

Quinn is 14 months today. He has really perfected his walking this week and is walking about 99% of the time now. He does get tired occasionally and crawl, but that is getting rarer and rarer. He still only says Hi and Mom, but he can find noses and teeth and will respond with an adorable "arf" if you ask him what a puppy says. He is a true joy and is shaping up to be an awesome kid!

Walking walking walking

Quinn is getting better at walking every day. He spent most of this morning walking all around the living room and kitchen, all on his own accord. He always seems to be more into walking in the morning, but I'm sure it won't be long until he's walking all the time. Yay!? My baby is not a baby anymore!

There was a small neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt Friday night for younger kids. Since there were only 3 kids in attendance, Quinn had his pick of eggs. He actually seemed more interested in crawling down the sidewalk, but hey, he still had fun!

I tried to take some pictures of Quinn with some bunny ears on. Didn't really work out so well.

They were on his head for about the length of time it required for him to reach up and snatch them off. Oh well, at least he thought something was funny!

A few days ago I went in to get Quinn up from his morning nap, and this is the crazy hair I found.

I never know what I'm going to see when I go in, his hair can be wild. I keep going back and forth on the 1st haircut, it may be coming sooner rather than later.
