My new necklace!

I've been wanting a personalized necklace for quite a while, and finally got just what I wanted. I did a special order with Tiny Token Designs on Etsy and it came out great! I'm so excited to wear it!

15 Months and Happy Memorial Day!

Quinn turned 15 months old today! I can't believe its already been 1/4 of a year since his birthday. We had a pretty uneventful day, but that's okay, we have a lot to do coming up! Quinn enjoyed chilling in the lawn chair, watching Daddy grill.

Happy Quinn!

I took a picture of Quinn eating his breakfast this morning and it was too cute to not share!

He has been abnormally grumpy lately, I think it is due to molar teething. Ugh, he only has 6 teeth right now, which means he's due for 14 more. Why can't they all come in a once? I think I'd rather have a month of hell than this prolonged on-again, off-again tooth drama. Not fun at all.

Another trick Quinn has learned lately is to climb into his jumper. He doesn't use it anymore, but it is still up, so he know views as another thing to be climbed. Everything is something to be climbed these days. Here is a lovely picture of him yesterday after he had somewhat successfully gotten in it.

Quinn on a Sunday

I realized yesterday that I hadn't taken many pictures of Quinn lately, so I took a few and here they are!
Here's Quinn double-fisting the water and the snack trap, filled with Goldfish. He doesn't like to be too far away from either of them!
It is hard to tell in this picture but Quinn is tell you what sound a snake makes! He has got puppy, snake, and sheep down, and he can sometimes do lion. His snake hiss is just too cute though! And on a good day he can tell you where his nose, eyes, teeth, tongue, and ears are...maybe I wasn't premature buying that Harvard shirt!
Ok, maybe he won't go to Harvard, maybe it will be MIT! He created his own ride-on toy! He sat on the box and started scooting across the floor. It didn't last long, but I thought it was pretty creative for a 14.5 month old.

My Birthday/Mother's Day Weekend

I had a very busy and very fun weekend due to Mother's Day and my 30th birthday falling on the same day this year. Friday I went out with friends and family to dinner at Estella's, one of my favorite Mexican restaurants, and then to dessert at Bern's, a fabulous steakhouse in Tampa well known for their desserts and extensive wine list. Here are some fabulous pictures!

Katie, myself, and Joy enjoying Estella's. Leah had never been to Bern's before and was very excited about her dessert!Ross and I in the Dessert Room!

On Saturday Ross's immediate family came over for a Mother's Day/birthday cookout. His mom got an ice cream cake for his sister and myself and obviously there was some communication difficulty with the lady taking the cake order. I thought his sister's name was Bridget, not Brittet!

Sunday started off at the Brunchery, as always. Since we are regulars, the owner had the whole restaurant sing me Happy Birthday, which she did for Quinn's birthday too. And I got a birthday muffin!

This was the best picture I could get with Quinn for Mother's Day. He loves people watching at the Brunchery, so I'm sure that's what he was doing here.

That night Joy took me out to see The Drowsy Chaperone, which is an adorable musical. We ate at Chipotle and visited a very cool coffee market in Clearwater. It was a great evening!

Here we are waiting for the show to start!

Well, now I can officially say I'm 30. Doesn't feel much different than 29 yet. I'm looking forward to all the opportunities and fun this decade will bring!
