Ok, here are the long awaited (ok, maybe not long) costume pictures! Doesn't he make an adorable Chewbacca! I will post pictures from tonight tomorrow. Enjoy!

I think he was very upset there was no candy in there!

Pictures Pictures Pictures

Here are some recent Quinn pics from the past week. I will post Halloween costume pics tomorrow, so come back soon!

From last Sunday, in his "golf" outfit. Too cute to not post a picture.Gotta love the embarrassing bath pictures. I'm stockpiling them for when he's a teenager.Quinn and his friend/cousin/buddy Audrey (she calls him all those things).Need anything fixed? Give Quinn a call, his rates are cheap, but you have to schedule around naptime and his only tool is a plastic hammer.Later that night when he cracked his head on the underside of the recliner. Not a happy moment. He still has the mark on his forehead.

8 Months!

My baby is 8 months old today...that's 2/3 of a year! And let me tell you, these monthly pictures are getting harder and harder to take, hence daddy's fingers in the photo below. Time does fly when you're having fun. He has mastered pulling up to standing and is doing it all the time. This week he has been able to get from his belly to a sitting position and he is perfecting his wave. He is so much fun and I love him more every day. Sure its sometimes annoying not being able to contain him, but he is always keeping me entertained and on my toes!

Happy Birthday to Everyone!

It's October 24, that means its a lot of people's birthday today! Ok, 3 to be exact, but that's a lot for one day. So here is Quinn wishing a Happy Birthday to all the special people in his life!

Snacktime!

Not too much has been going on lately. Audrey was at our house today and I snapped some pictures during snacktime.

Quinn loves his Baby Mum-Mums, which are quick dissolving rice husks. Audrey loves her pudding, which I suspect taste much better than the Baby Mum-Mums

Yay, Daddy's Home!

Ross was able to come home early from Louisiana on Thursday. Quinn and I were both very excited. Here are my boys doing what they do best, goofing off!

Nothing too exciting

So here are some pictures from the past week. As the title suggests, it is nothing too exciting. A few pictures of Quinn standing in his crib, which is an everyday thing. He has perfected his technique and get from laying on his back to standing in about 10 seconds flat. It has become quite a wonderful "game", I lay him down, he stands up, I lay him down, he stands up, and on and on it goes. He also can't figure out how to get down, so he cries and kind of freaks out a little. I know he'll get over it, hopefully sooner rather than later!

There is also a new picture of Quinn and Aunt Joy and him peeking up over the couch on his knees. He has pulled up to standing at the couch, particularly when he has motivation, which is usually putting the remote control in his mouth. Enjoy!

Life is rough for a baby...

This picture was taken on Tuesday but I think this is how he felt all day today. I'm convinced he's teething and he was just not in a good place at all. He didn't nap well and just wasn't able to deal with that. We did have a pretty busy day, and he managed as best he could, but it wasn't my favorite day ever.

The other day I went in to get him up for his nap and he had pulled up to his knees in his crib. I was excited, but not worried. Well, today I went in and he had pulled up to standing! I think he freaked himself out because he was crying quite loudly. I don't think he could figure out how to get down. He also pulled up to his knees on the couch today a few times and twice fell over. Once to the side and once straight back. Not good for the bad day. But he rallied and kept on going!

I put him in his swing today to see if he would fall asleep for a few minutes. He didn't, but he was calm and happy, so I went in my room to get ready to go out and run some errands. This is what I came back to (yes, he was buckled in, but only on one side).
Guess we won't be using the swing anymore.

I took him to a pumpkin patch today, which was nothing like what I'm used to, but it was still fun. Having grown up in the Pumpkin Capital of the World (Morton, IL) I'm used to pumpkin patches being huge fields where you can take hay rides and actually pull the pumpkins out of the ground, not a bunch of pumpkins stacked on pallets in the side yard of a church. Oh well, it was the thought that counts, right? I also got a library card today...woo hoo!
So here are some pictures of him pulling up by the side door and couch and at the pumpkin patch. Enjoy!
