16 Months!

Quinn is 16 months old today! He celebrated by pooping...a lot. He must have had some sort of upset stomach, as he woke up during the night very upset. During the day he seemed to get better.

Things are going fairly ok in our new place, there are have been a few negative incidents, but we're trying to make it the best. At least we have a roof over our heads!

Happy Father's Day

This is a bit late in the day, but I just wanted to say Happy Father's Day to all, especially my favorite fathers, Ross and my dad. Hope you all had a great day!

Quinn's Latest

Quinn is starting to get better acclimated to our new surroundings. He is a acquiring new skills and hobbies. He is also getting used to having animals around. Below are two pictures of his favorite new activities, throwing dog food at the dogs. He doesn't do it maliciously, but I guess he thinks he's feeding them. Sometimes he puts the food in their water first, but most of the time he picks up a handful and flings it at them while laughing hysterically. He laughs even more when they eat it. Nice to know he's enjoying himself. Oh, the bottom picture is when he flipped over the water bowls. Fun for everyone!
There was a corner cabinet left in our area and Quinn has figured out how to get the doors open. And that has led him to climb into his own little spot. We only put the cutest and most valuable things on display here! On a side note, I'm glad I got a picture, as hopefully that cabinet will be leaving our area soon, as Quinn pinched his finger pretty badly in it today.
In non-Quinn news, I took Jenn and Mark's son Jackson to see UP in 3D yesterday. We had a great time and the movie was fab! I would recommend it to pretty much anyone.

Hello again!

I haven't updated in a while, we've been so busy with moving I just haven't had time. Quinn is adjusting fairly well, although he has been super clingy lately. I'm sure he'll get past that soon. He is also cutting 6 teeth right now, so that could be part of the problem. Here is one of the last pictures of Quinn in his old room. We worked so hard on that paint. :(
On a happier note, Quinn and I were able to go back to play group this week and we had a great time. We went to the Aquatic Center in Fishawk, a huge neighborhood down here. We had a great time swimming and having fun with our friends!

What's Going On?

Too much. We're moving this week, which I've always hated. I especially hate it with a 15 month old. No fun at all. This is my 9th move in 8 years and the one I think I'm looking forward to the least, for many, many reasons. I will really be looking forward to move #10, whenever that happens!

Since there has been junk all over the house the last couple days, I've just kind of been letting Quinn play with whatever he finds, as long as he's not hurting himself or anyone or anything. Well, when I brought the infant carseat in to clean, he was very intrigued. He's recently starting climbing in his regular carseat by himself, so this was fun practice I guess.

The other day I got to go to lunch with 2 college friends, which was a lot of fun and a much needed break. Stacy was in Orlando at a work conference and since Amy lives over there, we met in Lakeland. I wish I could see Amy more often, but it is hard with life and all. Hopefully I'll get to see Stacy again in October when she comes back for another conference.

Today is our last day in this house. We have been so blessed to be in it since 12/07 and I will miss it very much. I know where we're moving to isn't ideal, but at least we have a place to go. I'm going to try and look on the brightside as much as possible. That hasn't been the easiest for me, but I know it is for the best.
