Its like every time I try to get on the blogging train, a rock on the rails throws me off again. A couple weeks ago I had a pretty great Wednesday...helped at Quinn's field day at school, went to work, took Quinn to Sarasota to see a friend of mine from high school who was on vacation. We had a great time. When we got home that night I didn't feel that great and I had a slight fever. I went to bed, got up the next morning, and bam, I was sick. Fever, aches, all that crap. Then I started vomiting. It was terrible. It continued for a week and a half, including a worthless trip to the walk-in clinic. I eventually ended up in the ER when I couldn't keep my eyes open and could barely move. Turns out I was severely anemic. Severely. The average hemoglobin level is 12-16. Mine was a 6. I spent 2 days in the hospital and they couldn't figure out what caused it. So while we're still waiting on that, at least I'm up and mobile and feeling pretty ok. But of course yesterday Quinn got an ear infection, so now I've got that to deal with. The fun never stops around here!!
So here are some pictures of Quinn, to lighten the mood!
A couple weekends ago we went to a Touch-a-Truck event in Tampa. Quinn had a great time. Here he is on a fire truck.
